Maria, originally from Venezuela, moved to the United States in 2014 to join her brother here in Atlanta. She plans to work towards her Master’s Degree in Education and wants to continue teaching as her long-term career. From a large family, Maria spent a significant amount of time around kids and naturally came to desire teaching and working with children. After working in a stressful job environment as an attorney for 14 years, Maria was searching for a more enjoyable and happy job when she found Primavera. She appreciates the pure and genuine nature of children and enjoys witnessing them learn and grow. Her favorite part of teaching at Primavera is being surrounded by the children’s pure happiness. Outside of Primavera, Maria enjoys exercise, yoga, running, hiking and spending time with her family.
